Have You Taken Time To Think?

Dear Uncommon Leaders,

Happy February! Have a great week, and new month, ahead! Be inspired this week!

Your Sunday Nugget

This Week's Question:

When is the last time you took time just to think?

This Week's Challenge:

We are thinking throughout our day but that thinking is attached to constant noise, distractions, decisions to make and people to talk to. If I set aside some time free of most of these distractions and focus my mind on a problem, an opportunity, or I let myself ponder a principle or idea, I always come away a bit more relaxed and with some new direction. It is always valuable, but I don’t schedule this time enough.

Your challenge this week is to find 30 minutes with little to no distractions just to think. Think about where you are and where you want to go in your life, think about a problem and what might lead to breakthrough or just let your mind dwell in gratitude. The best leaders I know set aside time to think. Try it and see if it helps you.

This Week's Quote to Ponder:

“Our souls need time to think, dream and reflect.” -Jo Ann Davis

Until next week,
