What is a simple thing you might be neglecting to do that would provide tremendous value to those around you?

This Week's Challenge: 

This week I spent some time with an incredible leader. Her employees absolutely love her and work extremely hard for her … and they achieve fantastic business results month after month and year after year! I was very impressed and so I began to ask her how she spends her time. I had to know what her secret was to have such an impressive team and healthy sales and profit. She told me that she works most days of the week, spending some time each day working side by side with her team doing simple tasks and talking with them.

‍I saw the payoff in this simple, consistent strategy by the cheerfulness and engagement of her leaders. Sometimes, it really is the little things that make all the difference.

As I drove home, I thought that often remarkable business success is not attributed to rocket science or the latest fad in leadership. It’s doing what we already know that adds value consistently.
