Small Wins

Dear Uncommon Leaders,

Happy Father's Day! I hope you all had a great day, celebrating with others, or being celebrated!

As you start a new week ahead, and continue pursuing your goals,  remember to stop and celebrate the progress you've made.

Let's go be uncommon! ⤴️

This Week's Question:

When was the last time you paused to celebrate a small win?

This Week's Challenge:

As leaders, we’re wired to chase progress. We set big goals, tackle big problems, and keep our eyes on what’s next. But if we never slow down to recognize the small wins along the way, we risk burning ourselves out and can do the same with our teams. Momentum doesn’t just come from major milestones—it’s fueled by consistent progress and the encouragement that comes from recognizing it.

This week, choose to celebrate a small win. It might be a teammate stepping up, a process that improved, or even the fact that you handled a tough moment with more patience than usual. Celebration isn’t just about reward, it’s about reinforcing the behaviors and values you want more of. Acknowledging small wins builds confidence, boosts morale, and reminds your team (and yourself) that you are moving forward.

Go have some fun this week, celebrating something!

This Week's Quote to Ponder:

“Success is the sum of small efforts—repeated day in and day out." Robert Collier

Until next week,
