The Power of Your Daily Habits
Dear Uncommon Leaders,
The holiday season is officially here! I hope you each had a terrific Thanksgiving. I’m grateful for you!
As you prepare for a new week ahead and the final month of the year, commit to putting in the work to make each day uncommon!
Your Sunday Nugget
This Week's Question:
Is there a daily activity you could commit to that could shape your leadership and life?
This Week's Challenge:
Recently I got a little bit of time with Tim Tassapoulos, the President of Chick-fil-A. To me and many others, Tim is one of the most respected leaders we have encountered. He’s not only extremely wise but he’s humble as well. He has consistently challenged me with his thinking and ideas.
While I listened to Tim share some of his best practices, one of them really struck me. For over 40 years, he has read a chapter of Proverbs every day. For 40 years! Every single day! This takes just a few minutes each day but he believes the impact on his mindset and faith has been tremendous. Just think about all the wisdom he gains every morning because of this practice!
If we want our leadership to be Uncommon, it will take commitments like Tim’s to help us get there. This week, ponder and then commit to a daily practice that can help you be more uncommon in your leadership.
This Week's Quote to Ponder:
“If you have good habits, time becomes your ally. All you need is patience.” -James Clear
Until next week,
LET'S GO BE UNCOMMON!
