With a 40-year career spanning government, public and private sectors, Leigh Leach is known for leading with integrity and bringing honesty, respect and intention to every interaction. Recently retired from Chick-fil-A after 20 years in Field Operations, and having also served as Chief of Strategy at the FDIC and Vice President of Strategy and Planning at SunTrust Banks, Leigh brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Uncommon team.
Often recognized for authenticity, relationship building and a thoughtful, consistent approach to business and leadership, Leigh also received the 2024 Jeanette Cathy Service Award— an award voted on by Chick-fil-A Operators to honor a staff member who embodies Jeanette Cathy’s legacy and character through support of Operators.
Leigh is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia and Georgia State University. She lives in Atlanta with her spouse Fran and they enjoy Georgia football, Lake Nantahala, golf and traveling with friends.
Leigh is passionate about service and volunteers with Canine Assistants, training service and therapy dogs. She is also an avid member of Orangetheory Fitness.
