Do You Need a Breakthrough?
Dear Uncommon Leaders,
It's officially Summer! Hope it's off to a great start. Challenge yourselves this week to be more uncommon. Have a great week ahead!
Your Sunday Nugget
This Week's Question:
Is there an area of your life that could use a breakthrough?
This Week's Challenge:
Each of us have issues, behaviors, bad habits or problems that recur and linger in our lives. I don’t know about you but often, I’m my own worst enemy by allowing these things to hang around. We need breakthrough so we can grow and advance to healthier places in our lives and leadership.
Here is your challenge for this week: Define an area in your life where you could use a breakthrough. Maybe it’s a spending problem, a health and fitness issue or something else. Be sure to clearly define it and write it down. Once you’ve done this, then schedule actions that can begin the process of breakthrough. Here’s a list of possible first actions:
- Envision what life will be like after the breakthrough
- Set a compelling goal
- Prepare a plan and put actions in your calendar
- Read something relevant to the issue
- Ask for help
Breakthrough begins with deciding to change. I hope the work you do this week can be a spark towards a better tomorrow.
This Week's Quote to Ponder:
You cannot be wimpy out there on the dream-seeking trail. Dare to breakthrough barriers to find your path. - Les Brown
Until next week,
LET'S GO BE UNCOMMON!
