Learning From All Ages

This Week's Question:

Do you regularly spend time with people who are of a different age group than yourself?

This Week's Challenge: 

The past few days I’ve been aware that my friends and people I hang out with come from a variety of age groups. This week I attended a breakfast with several men who are much older than me and learned from their stories and history. I also ran with a group that was much younger than me and they pushed me to run further and faster than I intended, which is good. Today I played golf with a couple friends who are my age, which was very comfortable and enjoyable. This variety provided very different perspectives and experiences. We can learn a lot from other people who are different ages than us. 

Your challenge this week is to be aware of the people you spend the most time with. Are they mostly from your age group? If so, seek out and talk with others that are older and younger than you. You’ll likely learn something. The restaurant environment is actually perfect for this. There is so much variety in dining rooms and behind the counters. Use every opportunity to learn from others and stretch your perspective!
