Delegation Celebration

Dear Uncommon Leaders,

How's your delegation going? I hope this series has been helpful and you're able to implement these strategies on effective delegation.

Have a great week ahead and as always Leaders, be uncommon! 👊

This Week's Question:

How often do you celebrate with your team?

This Week's Challenge:

Work is hard. Projects are demanding. And let’s be honest—we’re surrounded by negativity. Whether it’s the news, social media, or just the daily grind, it’s easy to let that weight spill into how we lead.

That’s why celebration matters.

It’s not just fluff. Celebration is a leadership discipline.

If we want to build positive, motivated teams, we need to make space to celebrate progress. Not just the huge wins—but the small steps forward.

We’ve been walking through our model for effective delegation, ACCE, and the next “C” stands for Celebrate—specifically, celebrating progress and completion.

  • When you check in and see effort? Give a high five or a shoutout.
  • When someone finishes a task you delegated? Celebrate it—even in a small way.
  • Make it fun. Make it visible.

Your challenge this week:

Find one opportunity to celebrate a teammate’s progress or completion.

Make it a habit. Because when celebration is part of your culture, people want to keep showing up and giving their best.

Delegation becomes easier. Morale goes up. Trust grows.

Let’s go be Uncommon—and celebrate well this week.

This Week's Quote to Ponder:

“People work for money but go the extra mile for recognition, praise, and rewards.” Dale Carnegie

Until next week,

LET'S GO BE UNCOMMON!
