Do You Ever Shoot Yourself in the Foot?
Dear Uncommon Leaders,
It's official! FALL is here!
Here's something to consider as you keep moving ahead this new season. Have an uncommon week! Press on!
Your Sunday Nugget
This Week's Question:
What are some repeated bad habits or failures that produce obstacles in achieving your goals?
This Week's Challenge:
We say all the time, the hardest person we’ll ever have to lead is ourselves. As I review my life, I see patterns that can lead me away from my goals. These might be habits, lack of discipline in an area of life or just bad decisions. If we routinely “shoot ourselves in the foot,” we may never get where we want to go.
Your challenge this week is to take some time, be honest with yourself and make a list of any self-destructive behaviors or patterns that you see. If you need help, ask someone who knows you really well what they see. When we clearly see and own our shortcomings, we can then begin to deal with them.
This Week's Quote to Ponder:
"A bad habit never disappears miraculously: it's an undo-it yourself project." Abigail Van Buren
Until next week,
LET'S GO BE UNCOMMON!
