Taking Back Lost Ground
Dear Uncommon Leaders,
As you prepare for your week ahead, remember to continue pushing ahead in your goals and in your leadership.
Have an uncommon week!
This Week's Question:
How do you respond when you lose ground?
This Week's Challenge:
Throughout my leadership journey, there have been seasons of progress—taking ground—and seasons of setback—losing ground. If you've led for any length of time, you know exactly what I mean.
Maybe sales have dipped. Maybe profit margins have tightened. Maybe you've felt it in your health, your relationships, or even your confidence as a leader.
It happens.
The real question is: What do you do when you realize you've lost ground? Do you settle for the new status quo? Do you get comfortable with the slide?
I hope not.
Uncommon leaders dig in. They choose not to settle. They commit to reclaiming lost ground—bit by bit, day by day.
So here’s your challenge for the week: Identify where you've lost ground—and make a plan to take it back.
The path of an uncommon leader is never a straight climb. There will be highs and lows, wins and losses. But one thing it doesn’t include is settling.
Let’s be uncommon—together.
This Week's Quote to Ponder:
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." - Winston Churchill
Until next week,
LET'S GO BE UNCOMMON!
