Your Workplace Culture
Dear Uncommon Leaders,
As you prepare for the week ahead, take a moment to reflect on your workplace culture. What are you building?
Have a meaningful and uncommon week ahead! 👊
This Week's Question:
Are you building a culture you’d want to work in?
This Week's Challenge:
We expect our people to want to come to work. But here’s a better question:
What kind of environment are we inviting them into?
Is it life-giving or draining?
Is it inspiring or just tolerable?
Is it both fun and challenging?
Great cultures don’t happen by accident. They are shaped—every day—by the energy, attitude, and intention of the leaders.
If we’re negative, ambivalent, or inconsistent, we can sink a team’s spirit faster than any external pressure.
But with consistent effort and a clear vision, we can create cultures that people want to be a part of—cultures where people thrive, grow, and bring their best.
Your challenge this week:
Get real about your workplace culture.
- How does it feel to walk into your environment?
- Would you enthusiastically apply for a job on your own team today?
- What’s one thing you can do this week to bring more energy, safety, or joy into your culture?
Evaluate honestly. Calibrate intentionally. And if needed—renovate boldly. It may take time, but it’s worth it.
Let’s go build something Uncommon. ⤴️
This Week's Quote to Ponder:
