Your WOW Factor

Dear Uncommon Leaders,

How was your weekend? I hope it was a great one and you're ready to make the most of the week ahead. 👏

In all you do, keep being uncommon in your leadership. Have an uncommon week!

This Week's Question:

Where is the “wow” in your leadership?

This Week's Challenge:

If you want to be an uncommon leader—one who truly influences and inspiresthere should be some “wow” in the way you lead.

People don’t rally behind average. They don’t lean in, grow, or stretch because of bland, checkbox leadership. But when leadership includes excellence, intentionality, and inspiration? That’s when people notice. That’s when they move.

Now let’s be clear—showing up matters. But simply showing up isn’t what sets leaders apart. What sets you apart is how you show up.

Maybe the wow is in how you listen.

Maybe it’s in how you teach, encourage, or challenge others.

Maybe it’s your energy, creativity, consistency, or clarity.

Your challenge this week:
Evaluate where the “wow” is in your leadership. Can your team name it? Can you?

If you’re not sure, ask someone you trust for feedback. And if the wow is missing? Start small. Pick one area—communication, recognition, follow-through—and bring a little extra intentionality and excellence.

Uncommon leadership should have a little spark to it... a little wow.

So let’s go bring it this week. 👊

This Week's Quote to Ponder:

“Average leadership doesn't ignite anyone.” -Unknown

Until next week,

LET'S GO BE UNCOMMON!
